You are officially my hero. That is all.
My jobs...
Theater and Dance Teachers...Wrote to Shelly Triggs (CCP) about theater and dance teachers who will work for free. Have not heard back. Sara was going to contact Drew Silvaggio.
PD College Credit... 10 hours = 1 unit of credit. I think we should wait on the PD credit until we have a workshop "series" ... as opposed to one workshop.
ACE GOALS... (1) Coordinate arts education efforts in the schools among community arts organizations. (2) Coordinate community advocacy efforts for arts education.
New Members... Melody is a big, fat liar...I think. Weren't we suppose to come up with 2 (not 4) names? I have 3... Mikele Hushing-Kline (Pacific Repertory Opera) 541-5369 propera@sbc global.net ...Wendy Eidson (SLO International Film Festival) 235-1507 festivaldirectro@slofilmfest.org ... and Susan Greenaway (Central Coast Children's Choir) 541-5323 greenaway@calinet.com
tah dah!
Wow Deb, good job! As for the big, fat liar status, you're half right - I actually think we were all supposed to come up with 3 names each...I just thought I'd assign 4 and find out who the REAL movers and shakers are of this group :) ps I totally owe you a phone call, this week has just been insane.
These are the theater teachers Shelly recommends. Note her #1 choice is our own Andrea Stoner! Should I ask her?
Diana Lynn Carter 549-0270 (she is a great presenter, interested in curriculum, teaches at junior college level, not sure if she would do it for free)
Jennifer Blomfield 545-0189 (another great presenter, not so interested in curriculum, great productions, not sure about doing it for free)
Victoria Doust 528-0184 ( she teaches at San Luis HS, Cayucos, Bishop’s Peak, not sure about her volunteering)
Andrea Stoner 268-3376 (wonderful presenter, works with SLO Symphony now, may be your best bet for volunteering for the job)
Russell Swanagon 786-0920 (Storyteller, shadow puppetry, you may know him through Cal Poly, he could be a strong candidate.
